The BANG 2012 Collection gets an airing….

We released the ‘making of’ video just before New Year and now the BANG 2012 collection of photographic images finally goes live. We love using fresh imagery for our marketing and print material and we’ll see how many publications we can get our latest trend predictions featured in. The BANG creative team love to research upcoming trends and take inspiration from runways across the globe, so we can keep our beloved clientele one step ahead when it comes to being bang on trend.

This year we have been working with the theme of Juxtaposition, mixing strength and softness through abstract forms, layering techniques and using pastel tones within our colour palette. The collection, the trends and techniques are described in more detail by our Creative Director, Sarah Cotton in the fabulously produced (by Orillo Productions) video of the shoot. You can view the footage via our previous blog post… click here.

You can view the photographic collection of our 2012 hair trend predictions in our gallery section here.

We would really like to say some huge thanks to our models Amy, Laura, Isaac, Kerry, Alexa, Adam, Kat & Anastasia for giving their time, their patience and their looks. Thanks to Samantha McCabe for her make-up skillage, our darling Sally Rhodes for her natural talents for making our random and odd clothes styling requests just work! Thanks to the guys at Orillo and the very talented Joel Smith for their ‘behind the scenes’ videography & photography. Jody’s mum, Lisa, for bringing her seamstress talents to the table with the pile of voile that Mr Bang threw at her saying, “Can you make something interesting out of this lot?” And last but by no means least, our wonderful neighbours at coggles.com for suggesting & providing inspired printed clothing by ‘Draw In Light’.

We hope you enjoy and take inspiration from our collection! Love BANG xxx
