Abi is officially UK’s Best Trainee!

Abi Theaker is our latest Award Winning success story. She recently won the annual UK National Trainee Hairdresser Competition in Blackpool and brought home the 1st place trophy for her category, Ladies Commercial Style based on current trends. The Little Princess Trust

Lisa Cameron decided, after much deliberation, to take the plunge with a brave restyle. She went from very long hair to a short graduated bob. The final push for this decision was a charity called ‘THE LITTLE PRINCESS TRUST’. This changing organisation provide real hair wigs to children suffering hair loss due to cancer treatment. 120g of hair is needed to make just one wig (thats between 5-10 hair donations, depending on thickness). Jody was, once again, invited to assist the Clipso Art Team at London Fashion Week for the Bernard Chandran AW12/13. WOW!!! Fantastic news!!! Our 2nd year apprentice, Abi T scooped the top prize in the ‘Ladies Commercial’ category at the North East Regional Finals of the AHT UK Trainee Competitions. The AHT competitions consist of a nationwide series of heats beginning in local colleges. The first and second place winners from each category then go through to the regional finals.
