More adventures with Jody at London Fashion Week

Jody was, once again, invited to assist the Clipso Art Team at London Fashion Week for the Bernard Chandran AW12/13. This is another fine example of the exciting opportunities that can arise for any ambitious young stylist that joins the Bang Team. Jody joined us in October 2008 from another independent York salon. After a year of developing his skills under the mentorship of our Creative Director, Sarah Cotton, Jody successfully auditioned for the prestigious L’Oréal I.D. Artist program. As an I.D. Artist, Jody was offered 2 years of incredible... Read The Rest →

Le Grande Bang Launch Party – An absolute smash!!!!

After opening the new Petergate salon in June, we thought we’d allow a couple of months to settle in before having the official launch. So in August, we held (in our opinion) the Minster Quarter’s ‘Party Of The Year!’ Over a hundred guests arrived at the new salon at 3pm to witness the official ribbon cutting by our specially invited guest, Adam Thomas from the New York hair gurus, Bumble and bumble (whose products are unbelievably amazing, by the way!) The doorway to the salon was flanked by an array... Read The Rest →

Jody Takes his talents to London Fashion Week

After two years on the L’Oréal Professionnel I.D. Artist training program, Jody was invited to join L’Oréal Portfolio Artist Darren Fowler to form a L’Oréal Professionnel Art Team at London Fashion Week. The team worked backstage, styling the models for Bernard Chandran’s Spring/Summer 2012 runway show, held at Il Bottaccio, Grosvenor Place. Jody took care of 2 of the models’ looks, pictured above. Bernard Chandran’s collection gave a glance of 1950′s glamourous silhouettes, with a modern edge added with metallic fabrics and structural shapes. The hair was all about sleek,... Read The Rest →
