Styling Services

Cutting
After an in-depth style and lifestyle consultation, you’ll be given a relaxing cleanse, condition & scalp massage. Your stylist will then use their bang structure training and personal flair to sculpt the perfect bespoke masterpiece that compliments everything about your hair type, head and face shape and most importantly, to suit your lifestyle. We will also prescribe some of the best hair care and styling products available, then send you away armed with the knowledge you need to recreate the look at home.

(This is our specially tailored menu of 4 iconic blow dry styles and 4 classic hair up styles that are suitably priced to be undertaken by one of our team of assistants. Just arrive with clean dry hair and we’ll create your desired look in 40 minutes.)

Bridal & Occasion Hair

• Bridal Trial (per 40 mins) – £30 / £35 / £42

• Out of Salon Occasions – £100 per stylist per hour / £40 per assistant per hour + £1 per mile travel outside central York. This will be planned & quoted in the most cost effective way for the number of people wanting their hair done in your party. 50% deposit is required once the price is agreed.

Technical Services

Highlights / Lowlights
Hair is taken in separate sections and coloured lighter, darker or richer. Often using several different shades to achieve a very natural effect that gives your hair colour more depth and variety of tone. We always use foils for a closer to the root, more defined technique.

• Full Head – £64 / £75 / £82 (Foils cover the entire head)
• Full & Long - £74 / £85 / £92 (For people with LOTS of hair requiring more foils)
• Half Head – £52 / £60 / £69 (Foils cover all of the front and top of the head down to below the crown and the back of the ears recommended every 2nd or 3rd visit to keep your highlights looking fresh)
• T-Bar – £43 / £48 / £53 (Crown, parting and front hairline area)

Colour

• Full Tint / Bleach – £39 / £44 / £50  (Colour is painted directly onto hair and scalp, great for dramatic colour change and covers white hair 100%)
• Tint & Highlights (from) – £52 / £60 / £69  (As above but with a few foils interspersed to break up the colour a little)
• Tint / Bleach Regrowth – £32 / £36 / £42  (Covering up to 2 inches of hair regrowth to match your previous colour)
• Gloss / Semi Permanent - £38 / £45 / £49  (A good service for giving a little more shine and depth to your existing colour, not suitable for a high percentage of white hair)
• Creative Colour – £Price By Quotation  (A bespoke service using techniques that are tailored to your individual style. We highly recommend a consultation prior to your visit for a more detailed price quote)
• Add a toner to any service – £12  (Particularly recommended for achieving your desired tone after services using bleach)
• L’Oréal Professionnel iNOA (Innovation NO Ammonia) – Add 10% to your service cost. (This revolutionary oil based colouring system uses no ammonia and therefore leaves hair appearing much softer and shiny than when using ammonia based technology)

Cleansing / Stripping
These procedures are necessary if there is a build up of existing colour on your hair that needs stripping back or lifting before a new colour is applied

Hair Straightening & Relaxing
For softer, smoother, more easily manageable hair or differing degrees of permanent straightening, it’s time to give those irons a rest.

• L’Oréal Professionnel Xtenso Moisturist – £Price By Quotation  (A gentle relaxing cocktail that creates a straighter smooth ‘natural looking’ finish to achieve the Brazilian straightening look without the potential side effects and hefty price tag – perfect for keeping frizzy hair at bay for up to 60 days.)
• L’Oréal Professionnel Xtenso Cera Thermic – £Price By Quotation  (A permanent relaxing/straightening service which leaves the hair healthy, moisturised and manageable.)

*(All of our technical prices include a complimentary blow dry, this may be with an assistant during busy periods. If you do require a blow dry from a particular stylist then the relevant charge will be added. A skin allergy test is also required for all new colour clients at least 48hrs prior to application.)

Our hair is under constant stress & abuse from the natural elements and, more than anything, from our own doing. Constant heating, colouring, styling and using masses of products contributes to hair looking and feeling tired, dried out and damaged. • L’Oréal Professionnel Power Repair B – £8   (2-3 mins)  (An instant repairing treatment for very damaged hair. To restructure and rehydrate the hair fibre, providing absolute repair)
• L’Oréal Professionnel Powerdose Color – £8   (2-3 mins)  (A powerful repairing treatment with long lasting results. Restpores and prolongs the vibrance of colour treated hair, regaining a soft, silky, natural feel)
• L’Oréal Professionnel Powerdose Contrast – £8   (2-3 mins)  (A post-highlight repairing treatment that targets each highlighted fibre, to protect and maintain the hair’s natural condition from within. It also helps to maintain the brightness and intensity of highlights in between highlight services)

• Bb. Wear & Care Masque Treatments – £12   (10-15 mins)  (Enjoy a relaxing experience in our state of the art shiatsu massage chair and let the Bumble technology work it’s magic)
• Mending – For the truly damaged, chemically treated / bleached, sun damaged hair which lacks protein
• Quenching – For the terribly thirsty. An intense moisture blast for tired, dried out hair caused by over styling with heated appliances and general everyday stress

• L’Oréal Professionnel Fiberceutic – £16   (10-15 mins)  (Botox for hair. A fibre filling treatment, designed to help reinforce the protective layer of the hair. Followed by a special sealer, hair feels softer and looks revitalised)
• L’Oréal Professionnel Simbio – £16   (15-20 mins)  (A colour refreshing and moisturising treatment in one. Simply choose your shade and enjoy the benefits of a nourishing masque treatment, whilst perking up your colour at the same time)
• Bb. Deeep Protein Masque – £16   (20-25 mins)  (For colour junkies, styling abusers or sun worshippers, this protein masque will revive your lifeless locks. This deep penetrating treatment is massaged into the hair and then heat is applied for up to twenty minutes to ensure maximum impact)
